The Trendy Trouser

The Trendy Trouser, originally called the RAF Pant, is still the most worn piece I have ever made. Constructed from gray pinstripe fabric, the trousers are comfy while still achieving a classic tailored look, and the small star patch on the back adds a little fun. The pants are easy to style and can be dressed up or down, which has made them a staple in my wardrobe.

I constructed these trousers in Clothing Construction I course while studying fashion technology at the University of Hawaii Maui College. Although the pattern was not drafted by me, I am currently working on drafting a similar pair with an improved fit, with the hope of eventually producing and selling them so I can share the love.
